WHAT IS PICKLEBALL?

Pickleball was invented in the USA in 1965 and for a long time was a closely guarded secret by it’s participants. But in recent years it has been seen an explosion in numbers, professionalism and facilities worldwide. Australia has been no exception. Ocean Grove Pickleball is a proud and well respected member of the Pickleball Community.

Pickleball is a paddle and ball sport suitable for all skill levels and age groups. It is often described as being a combination of Tennis, Badminton and Table Tennis and if you have ever played one of these sports you have a good starting point. Pickleball is both fun and challenging with a combination of long rallies and a blend of soft and rapid fire shots. It can be played in both the singles and doubles formats.

Ocean Grove Pickleball was established in 2019 and continues to thrive and grow.
